What We’re Wearing To LFW
Posted by StylokoAh! It’s here! It’s finally, *actually*, here! We’re not sure whether we’re crazy-excited or just crazy right now, but London Fashion Week spring/summer 2013 has finally landed, and boy do we know it. So, as we prepare for a full five days of show reports, collections and cool looks, we figured we’d kick-start our week of sartorial style with our own. Here’s what we’re wearing to fashion week (and where to shop the looks, y’know, if you like ‘em)!
Emily O’Brien, Editor-in-Chief
Emily says: So apparently I look somewhat festive in a sparkly green sweater and a splash of Bordeaux (it’s never too early, even at 9am), but I’ve fully given into autumn and its wonderfully rich colour palette. The first day of fashion week is always our busiest, so ‘sensible’ shoes are essential – I’m wearing my Opening Ceremony Brenda boots which have the perfect mid-heel to keep me running ’til 10pm. And I can’t live with my Danielle Foster tote – the perfect size to carry all my crap essentials while still looking slick.

Catherine Chenery, Head of Marketing and PR
Catherine says: For the first day of LFW I’m wearing a Mary Katrantzou t-shirt with skinny black jeans and a leather jacket. My clutch is one I got from H&M a while back but I use it all the time. I’ve mainly gone for comfort today but I think my Zara courts are going to cause me problems on the cobbles at Somerset House!

Ink Limpichart, Fashion Writer
Ink says: For the first day of London Fashion Week, I’m wearing a maroon T by Alexander Wang skirt – the perfect colour for this autumn/winter – and a neon blouse by J crew (because a touch of neon never fails to cheer me up). My shoes are black strappies by Alaia – they’re surprisingly comfy.

Theo Johnson, Social Media Manager

Theo says: For my first day of LFW I’m wearing blue Reiss chinos with a contrasting burgundy Lacoste shirt and a Folk harrington jacket. I didn’t want to compete with the people who dress up massively for the day so went for simple classic pieces that are comfy enough to move quickly in but (hopefully) stylish enough that I won’t get thrown out!

Sam Marklew, Men’s Writer

Sam says: While it’s the first day of fashion week, I’ll be running backwards and forwards between Somerset House and the office, so I had to marry professional and stylish. You can’t go far wrong with a leather jacket from Zara, matched with a Folk shirt, Nudie jeans, and a classic pair of Kurt Geiger brogues.
