Lady Gaga’s Naked In Her First Fragrance Campaign For ‘Fame’

Remember that fragrance Lady Gaga was launching that smelt like blood and semen and other disgusting stuff we’d really rather not spritz on our body? The first campaign’s just leaked online (and, actually, it’s kinda cool).

The fragrance now has a name, Fame, and in the ad, Lady Gaga lies naked (naked!) while weird little men climb over her body to strategically cover her naughty parts. Oh, and she’s wearing a mask that looks remarkably similar to something Batman would wear.

It was shot by Steven Klein, who’s famously worked with Madonna on a string of shoots, and though it’s slightly creepy and, well, weird, we can’t help but think there’s something kinda cool about it, too.

As for the scent itself, apparently it smells like “random notes of belladonna, jasmine, orchid, honey, saffron and apricot nectar,” and not like blood and semen at all – but they are still key ingredients.

“[Blood and semen] is in the perfume, but it doesn’t smell like it. You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen, and the blood is sort of primal,” Gaga explains. ”And the blood was taken from my own blood sample, so it’s like a sense of having me on your skin.”

Mmm, nice.
