Karl Lagerfeld Plays God In Jean Roch’s St Tropez Video

Karl Lagerfeld + Snoop Dogg + Jean Roch (x one cheesy pop song / music video shot in St Tropez) = the most genius thing we’ve seen this week.

A while ago (ok, so like, nine months, to be precise), Karl Lagerfeld was spotted in St Tropez filming a music video with French electro-pop artist Jean Roch, which led everyone to wonder what on earth the pair were up to.

Well, now we know exactly what they were up to, because the video has arrived! And boy what a treat it is. It starts with Karl playing God in heaven, natch, before Jean Roch is beamed down to earth to sit next to one Snoop Dog on the bonnet of a car (again, natch).

Snoop doesn’t really do anything other than perform the best rolly arm dance we’ve seen and offer generic contributions like “my boy Jean Roch” and “St Tropez”, but really, who are we to complain when fronted with something this epic?

We’re particular fans of the amateur montage of St Tropez sights and signs that are cut in between Roch sunning himself, Snoop nodding his head, and Karl on a walk-around tour of “paradise”.

We highly recommend watching the video below (like, now), then reconsidering just how much you love St Tropez, ’cause we bet it ain’t half as much as these three.
