Henry Holland Per Superga

Henry Holland’s a fun guy, isn’t he? His designs are fun, his parties are fun, he is fun. So it’s only fitting, really, that his new collaboration with Superga is, like, super fun.

He’s teamed up with the footwear label on a line of pimped-up plimsolls, which feature just about everything from platform soles to polka dots, leopard print and pony hair in a rainbow of colours (we’re especially smitten with the navy spot pair).

We joined the designer at the launch party last night where, in a warehouse lined with tropical shacks and pirate waiters, we tried on our fave pumps while Henry blew out the candles on his giant Superga cake with pals Alexa Chung and Nicola Roberts. Both Alexa and Henry were wearing Supergas, natch, but not from his collection – she wore navy, he wore white – which is disappointing, but we’ll let them off for two reasons: 1) she’s the face of Superga, she can wear what she likes; 2) he looked incred in a tropical print suit.

And so we drank pina coladas from giant pineapples, gushed over Alexa a little too much, danced to Beyonce, and had a ruddy fun time – flick through our gallery below for proof in pics.
