Festival Fashion: Your Complete Shopping Guide

Posted by Styloko

Whether it’s Bestival, Isle of Wight or the Secret Garden Party you’ve penned into your diary, one thing’s for sure: you’ll need to update your festival wardrobe. Because let’s face it, how much of what you took to Glasto last year has actually survived? We’re guessing those fashionably ripped shorts are now torn to the point of indecency, right?

Now, we know that getting together the perfect festival ensemble isn’t as effortless as it looks (despite how easy those celebs make it seem) so we thought we’d get you in the mood by helping you out with a few pointers – and obvs we just couldn’t help but share some of our favourite festival must-haves for this year.

Aside from the obvious necessities (waterproof parkas and wellies) we’re also championing the idea of bikinis as an alternative to underwear – they’re easier to clean and dry much faster (useful for when it pours, and it will). Another tip: go crazy with prints. No one will be able to tell whether your top is dirty or if those stains are just part of the pattern. Add a pair of statement sunglasses, some eye-catching neon jewellery and, of course, a new pair of denim hotpants (take Rihanna as your style inspiration), and you’re ready to rock ‘n’ roll.

Check out our Festival Scrapbook for everything you’ll need for a fun, fashionable weekend.
